We are proud to offer the services of a dynamic duo physiotherapy husband and wife team: Scott and Kate Vickers.
Scott graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland in 1999 and has specialised in private practice since 2001.
Scott has been a longstanding member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and is committed to continuing education, having completed further training including level 1 and level 2 Sports Physiotherapy courses, lower limb tendinopathy and Western acupuncture and dry needling. Scott enjoys treating all musculoskeletal conditions but has a special interest in sporting injuries and has previously worked with elite level rugby league and soccer teams. More recently Scott has been involved in treating elite gymnasts, triathletes and swimmers. Scott has provided training to several local worksites in ergonomics/manual handling and has completed Level 1 and 2 courses in Occupational Health.
Scott enjoys participating in all sports and participates in the Mooloolaba triathlon each year.
Scott is available Monday to Friday, with early morning and late evening appointments available.
Kate graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland in 1999 and has worked both in hospitals and private practice.
Kate enjoys working in the area of pregnancy and post-natal care. Kate is a trained Pilates instructor and has enjoyed delivering Pilates classes since 2010.
